Biography
Born November 28, 1926 in Poltoratsk (now Ashgabat ). He graduated from the ten classes of the school and the Leningrad Institute of Aviation Instrumentation , after which he worked in the design bureau of plant number 794 "Radiopribor" in Leningrad. Since 1959, Koblov worked as Deputy Chief Engineer at the Research Institute of Radio Electronics, and since 1970 - Head of SKB-2 [1] .
Koblov actively participated in the development of radio range-finders, radar stations, the Kupol aim-navigation complex for the Soviet Air Force, including fighter jets and military transport aircraft [1] .
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 3, 1975, Vladimir Koblov was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle and Hammer gold medal for "outstanding services in the creation, testing and production of heavy An-22 military transport aircraft." In addition, in 1981 he was awarded the USSR State Prize [1] .
Later, Koblov worked in senior positions in the Ministry of Radio Industry, in 1979-1986 he was Deputy Minister. From 1986, he served as deputy, and from 1987, first deputy chairman of the Military Industrial Commission of the USSR Council of Ministers. After the collapse of the USSR, Koblov continued to work as an adviser to the Minister of Industry of the Russian Federation on the defense complex. In addition, he headed the department at the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation, defended his doctoral dissertation. He was the author of several dozen scientific works, inventions, a number of monographs [1] .
He was also awarded the Order of the October Revolution, two Orders of the Badge of Honor and medals [1] .
He died on December 19, 2016 . He was buried at Troyekurovsky cemetery (section 13).
