Graduated from Chernivtsi University (1951).
Until 1987, he worked in the department of Irkutskgeology: geologist, party leader, chief geologist of expeditions. He led the exploration of deposits of magnesite, talc, rare metals in the East Sayan, stratigraphy, tectonics, metallogeny of the Siberian platform.
As the chief geologist of the Savinsky integrated geological exploration expedition (until 1965) in 1967 he was awarded the USSR State Prize for his participation in the discovery, exploration and evaluation of the Savinsky magnesite deposit.
Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences. Since 1987, lecturer at Irkutsk University , assistant professor of regional geology and geophysics.
The author of more than 50 scientific papers. Awarded orders.
