MKSL ( MKSLM ) - a system of units in which the basic units are the unit of length meter , unit of mass kilogram , unit of time second and unit of luminous flux . It was used in optics and photometry [1] .
In the USSR, the system was introduced in 1948 by publishing the “Regulations on Light Units”. Subsequently, it was canceled as a result of the adoption of GOST 7932-56 “Light units” and replaced by the MSC system of units (MCC) , in which the light intensity was used as the main light value , and a candle was later chosen as the unit of its measurement, later named candela [1 ] .
In accordance with the "Regulation on light units" in the ISSL system, a candle (international) was defined as "the light intensity of a point source in the directions where it emits a luminous flux of 1 lm, equally distributed in a solid angle of 1 eraser " [2] .
