Biography
Born in the family of writer Joseph Sigmund Ebersberg and his wife Maria Nadori; the elder brother of Ottokar Franz (1833-1886), writer and playwright.
He served as a professor of history and geography at the Theresian Military Academy in Wiener Neustadt Castle and held this position until his death. He was a member of several scientific societies. Awarded the Gold Medal of Arts and Sciences.
