Biography
He was educated in the Simbirsk Cadet Corps , the Konstantinovsky Military School (1st category) and the officer artillery school. The officers produced in 1891 in the 19th Don Cossack battery. Member of the Russian-Japanese , First World War and Civil War. March 29, 1915 was promoted to colonel .
Occupied the following posts:
- 01/15. 1911 - 03/10. 1913 - commander of the 11th Don Cossack Battery;
- 10.03. 1913 - 5.12. 1915 - commander of the 6th Don Cossack Battery;
- 5.12. 1915 - 1917 - commander of the 1st Don Cossack Artillery Division;
- 1917 - 18 - chieftain Art. Novocherkassk.
After leaving the partisans of Novocherkassk on February 12, 1918, he remained in the city. Arrested by the Bolsheviks and sentenced to death. He was detained in Novocherkassk prison . Released on April 1, 1918, by the rebel Cossacks, art. Krivyansk, Cherkasy district, under the command of military foreman M. A. Fetisov , who drove the Bolsheviks from the city of Novocherkassk. He retreated on April 4, 1918 from the city along with a detachment of Fetisov. In May 1918 he joined the ranks of the Don Army. Produced on January 31, 1919 as a major general .
