Osman Selahaddin Osmanoglu ( Turkish: Osman Selahaddin Osmanoğlu ; born July 7, 1940 , Alexandria [1] ) is the son of the 41st head of the Osman House, Ali Wasib , the only (from the living) descendant of two sultans at once: Murad V and Mehmed V.

Biography
Osman was born in 1940 in Alexandria when his parents were in exile. Osman's father, Ali Wasib , on the male side was the great-grandson of Sultan Murad V ; mother, Emine Mukbile , was also the granddaughter of Mehmed V on the male side. Osman Selahaddin studied at the private in Alexandria and was a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in London. On August 27, 1966 in London, Osman married Athena Joy Cristoforides, daughter of Richard Cristoforides and Eugenia Joy Rogers-Tillstone. Four children were born in this marriage: daughter Aishe Gulnev (b. 1971) [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] and sons Orhan Murad (b. 1972), Nihad Reshad (b. And d. 1978) and Selim Suleiman (b. 1979) [1] [8] .
Son Orhan Murad (b. 1972) lives in England. He owns an investment company, brings up two sons.
In 2007, at the initiative of Osman, his father, Ali Wasib, was reburied in Istanbul . A few years earlier, Osman Selahaddin published his father's diaries, written by him in exile [9] .
