Biography
Voronina Alexandra Ivanovna was born on February 17, 1917 in the village of Kolganovo of the Gorodetsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod province in a peasant family. She graduated from four classes of Poteryakhinsky high school. In 1939, she began working as an ordinary collective farmer in a field crew on the Progress collective farm in the Chkalovsky District (formerly named after K. Marx). Since 1947, she led the flax cultivation link. [one]
In 1946 she was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." Since 1947, Alexandra Ivanovna led the flax growing link on her collective farm.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 9, 1949, for harvests of long flax - 10.3 centners of fiber and 5.8 centners of seeds per hectare on an area of 2.6 hectares, Voronina Alexandra Ivanovna was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the presentation Order of Lenin and the Golden Hammer and Sickle Medal .
In 1951, A.I. Voronina was sent to a two-year school of gardeners in the city of Lyskovo . After graduation, she worked as a gardener on her collective farm.
In 1953 - 1955 she studied at a three-year school for the training of leading collective farm personnel. After graduating, she worked as an agronomist on the Progress collective farm. In 1957 she was a member of VDNH , is listed in the Book of Honor of the Komsomol Central Committee . In 1959, she began working at the Zavolzhsky Engine Plant . She worked as a machine tool worker, drill driver, controller of quality control department.
In November 1962 she became a member of the CPSU . Three times she was elected as a deputy to the village and twice to the district councils of people's deputies. She was a member of the shop committee, mentor of youth.
Since 1948, she lived in the city of the Volga region of the Gorodetsky district . She died on December 21, 2000 and was buried in the village of Vysokovo, Chkalovsky District, Nizhny Novgorod Region .
