U Lianyun , in some sources referred to as U Lianyun ( Chinese trad. 吳良鏞 , Exercise , pinyin : Wú Liángyōng , born May 7, 1922) - a Chinese architect, town planner.

Biography
Born in Nanjing , Jiangsu Province. In 1944 he graduated from the National Central University in Chongqing.
In 1946, together with Liang Sycheng, he founded the Faculty of Architecture at Tsinghua University . He taught at this faculty for several decades.
On the recommendation of Liang Sychen in 1948-1950. He continued his education in the USA at the Cranbrook Academy of Art under the guidance of Eliele Saarinen . Received a master's degree. In 1950 he returned to China.
In the late 1980s, he oversaw the reconstruction of the old Peking quarter ( hutuna ) Juyer. This project has received several awards.
