History

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F.F. Schubert in 1834, the village of Bolshoi Kolenetz , consisting of 22 peasant households and the adjacent village of Maly Kolenetz , is indicated [2] .

BIG BELL - the village belongs to Lieutenant General Aprelev, the number of inhabitants according to the audit: 74 m. P.
LITTLE KELLENZA - the village belongs to the titular counselor Fefelova and Mrs. Repyeva, the number of inhabitants according to the audit: 15 mp, 15 w. paragraph [3] . (1838)

On the map of F. F. Schubert in 1844, the village of Bolshoi Kolenetz of 22 yards and the village of Maly Kolenets adjacent to it are also marked [4] .

According to the statistics on the national economy of the Novoladozhsky district of 1891, the Kolenets manor belonged to the nobleman KP Obernibesov and was acquired by him until 1868; the wasteland of the Kolenetz manor with an area of ​​221 tithing belonged to the local peasant P. V. Kazakov and was acquired by him in 1870 for 1300 rubles, there was a mill in his estate [7] .

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Khvalovsky volost of the 2nd camp of the Novoladozh district of the St. Petersburg province.

According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the villages were called Kolenets-Bolshoi and Kolenets-Maly and were part of the Meleksinsky rural society [8] .

According to the military topographic map of the Petrograd and Novgorod provinces of the 1915 edition, the village consisted of two parts: Bolshoi Kolenets and Malyi Kolenets [9] .

From 1917 to 1923, the villages of Kolenets Bolshoi and Kolenets Maly were part of the Kolenetsky village council of the Khvalovsky volost of the Novoladozh district.

Since 1923, as part of the Meleksen Village Council of the Kolchanovo Volost of the Volkhov County .

Since 1927, as part of the Volkhov district.

In 1928, the population of the villages was 217 people [10] .

According to 1933, the villages of Bolshoi Kolenets and Maly Kolenets were part of the Navolotsky village council of the Volkhov district [11] .

Since January 1, 1939, the villages of Kolenets Bolshoi and Kolenets Maly are accounted for by regional administrative data as a single village of Kolenets .

Since 1946, as part of the Novoladozhsky district .

Since 1954, as part of the Khvalovsky village council.

In 1958, the population of the village was 62 people.

Since 1963, again as part of the Volkhov district [10] .

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Kolenets was also part of the Khvalovsky village council [12] [13] [14] .

In 1997, 3 people lived in the village of Kolenets in the Khvalovsky volost, in 2002 - 7 people (Russians - 86%) [15] [16] .

In 2007, 6 people were in the village of Kolenets of Khvalovsky SP [17] .

Geography

The village is located in the southeastern part of the district on the highway 41K-372 ( Dudachkino - Syretskoe ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 8 km [17] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Myslino is 15 km [12] .

The village is located on the left bank of the Syas river.
