He began his career in 1994 at the Corinthians Club of Sao Paulo. 1997 spent Goiânia at the Goias Club . In the spring of 1998 he moved to the club of the first Russian division Arsenal of Tula , where he scored four goals in 26 games. At the beginning of the next season, Jorginho was loaned to Samara's top division Krylia Soviets club , but spent only five matches for the club, was extremely unhappy with the living conditions, and in June Krylia Soviets decided to part with it. ^[1] In the second half of the season, he scored four goals in 18 games for Arsenal, after which he left the team.
