History

It all started with high school, when Fumiya Enuma, Noriaki Nitta and Hiroki Yoshioka (a former member of the group) studied in the same class. They decided to form a group to participate in the school festival. At that time, they had a girl vocalist. They did not have their own compositions, but already in their second year of high school, Plenty seriously engaged in music, they began to gradually switch from covers to their own songs. The group consisted of four people until they graduated from high school. So, starting with the imitation of various musicians, their idols, performing a cover version, Plenty came to their own style. Since at the end of school the vocalist left the group, Enuma without hesitation took the matter into his own hands, including the role of their leader. Their touching, and sometimes vice versa, dynamically serious compositions, as well as impressive texts with the help of which Fumiya tries to convey to the audience about her feelings, anxiety, outlook on life and this world, interspersed with its unusual voice, create their own, unique sound. The name of the group “Plenty”, spontaneously arose, it happened in 2008 on 「COUNTDOWN JAPAN 08/09」 - (group debut), before the performance they had to urgently come up with a name to be announced, but nothing came to mind. During the conversation, their bass player, Nitta, mentioned that he recently went to “plenty” (a store / cafe in their hometown) to eat a parfait . So, in fact, the name of the group appeared. After the departure of their drummer Hiroki Yoshioka in 2011, Plenty has long performed with additional members from other bands such as Daiki Nakahata and Mikio Hirama, but already in 2014 it was joined by drummer Itta Nakamura, and Plenty became a full-fledged group
