Durnev, Victor Vasilievich

Victor Vasilyevich Durnev (born August 14, 1961 ) is a Soviet and Russian athlete. CCM (1976); USSR Master of Sports in Weightlifting (1977); Master of Sports of the USSR of the international class in weightlifting (1982). Candidate for Mater Sports in Powerlifting Athletes with PODA (2015). An outstanding athlete of the Republic of Bashkortostan (1997). The badge of honor "For Merit to the Podolsky District, 3rd Degree" (2003).

Biography

Durnev Viktor Vasilievich was born on August 14, 1961 in the village of Efremovo-Zykovo, Orenburg Region.

He went in for sports in the sports clubs “Batyr” (1975-1981) (coach L. N. Kopnin) and “Chemist” (1981-1985) ( Ufa ; coaches G. L. Aferin [1] , R. Z. Siraev).

In 1991, he received a spinal injury (accident), a disabled person of group 1.

Sports club "Vityaz", Podolsk (1998-2004); sports club MBU FOKI "Mustang" (2013).

In 1982-1984 he was a member of the USSR national weightlifting team.

In 1998-2004, he was a member of the Russian national team in powerlifting athletes with PODA.

  • Winner of the USSR Cups (1982, 1983 - biathlon)

  • European Champion in Powerlifting Athletes with PODA (1999)
  • Silver medalist of the World Athletes Championships with PODA (1999)
  • Champion of the VII International Spartakiad (1999)
  • Silver medalist at the Belgian Open Championship (2000)
  • Finalist of the Paralympic Games in Sydney (6th place)
