Division Creation

By order of the USSR NCO on July 2, 1944, the 294th Poltava Fighter Aviation Division was renamed the Poltava 13th Guards Fighter Aviation Division [1] for exemplary fulfillment of command tasks and courage and heroism shown at the same time.

Division

On April 2, 1960, the 13th Guards Fighter Aviation Poltava-Alexandria Red Banner Order of the Kutuzov Division was disbanded in the Turkestan Military District .
