APEC Beijing 2014 Summit ( APEC Beijing 2014 ) is the twenty-second annual meeting of APEC economies that was held on November 10–11, 2014 in Beijing, China [1] .

Summit Results
At the end of the APEC summit in Beijing, the participating countries adopted a 24-page declaration, which contains many details on how cooperation will develop in the future, for example, a plan was developed to strengthen interconnectedness in 2015-2025:
“We commit ourselves to strengthening regional interconnectedness in the physical, institutional and humanitarian dimensions by adopting agreed measures and achieving our goals by 2025 in the interests of creating an integrated, comprehensively interconnected and integrated space in the Asia-Pacific region,” the declaration said.

APEC countries have again reaffirmed their allegiance to the principle of rejection of protectionism.
Summary for Russia
After negotiations between Russia and China , Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping signed 17 documents relating to the oil and gas sector , hydropower, joint infrastructure projects and equipment supplies. Along with the agreement already signed in May 2014 on gas supplies to China through the eastern route “Power of Siberia” , a memorandum and a framework agreement were signed to increase gas supplies to China almost doubled, due to the capacity of the western route “Altai” [3] . After the implementation of all the signed agreements for the supply of natural gas , China will become the importer of Russian gas number one in the world.
