Yamin Israel

The party was created on July 24, 1995 by the Knesset deputy Shaul Gutman , who separated from the Moledet party into a faction with one parliamentarian. In the 1996 Knesset elections, the party did not pass the electoral threshold of 1.5% of the vote. Only 2844 people voted for it.

In the 2003 election, Yamin Israel also failed, although it merged with the Herut movement of Michael Kleiner . The joint list gained only 1.1% of the vote - 36,202 (8,000 votes were not enough to pass the electoral barrier).

The same situation prevailed in the 2006 elections, when the party teamed up with the Hazit Yehudit Leumit party of Baruch Marzel . The list scored 28,824 votes (0.79%), remaining outside the Knesset. In 2007, the leaders of Yamin Israel, Eleanor Shifrina and Paul Eidelberg, announced the termination of their alliance with Hazit Yehudit Leumit due to ideological contradictions. The party did not participate in the 2009 elections.

1. Preserving the integrity of Israel within the boundaries indicated in the Torah and enshrined in international legal acts, such as the decision of the League of Nations of 1922 on the creation of Palestine as a Jewish national center. To enforce this decision, the UK received a League of Nations mandate.
2. Preservation of the Jewish character of the state . Israel since its inception is the national home of the Jews. The Jewish character is ensured by the presence in the country of the titular nation - the Jewish people - in an amount of at least 80% of the total population. The party’s activities in matters of national politics are based on the Law of Return .
3. Socio-economic problems . In modern conditions, Zionism is able not only to survive, but to gain strength only in a combination of ideology and economy. According to the program, the party advocates the return of the traditional values ​​of Zionism, since 100 years ago the Jews sought to Palestine in order to build a new life in their native land with their labor.
