Network History and Description
The Giprocommundortrans design organization in Moscow in July 1954 develops a draft tram line for the Orsk-Khalilovsk Metallurgical Combine of the first construction stage from the Management of the Combine (CCC) stop in the direction of the city with a length of 12 km in one-way calculation (the area of the Construction College ») And issues a typical design of traction substation No. 1 at 2РМНВ-1000 with reference to the terrain (the area of the Pushkin stop).
Within 2 years, 1955–1956, the construction of the tram track, contact network, traction substation and dispatch pavilion was completed. Tram management became part of the UKH.
