Biography
The representative of the Polish princely family Sapeg emblem " Fox ". The fifth son of Prince Vladislav Leon Sapieha (1853-1920) and Elzbieta Constance Potulitskaya ( 1859 - 1948 ). The brothers are Casimir, Leon , Jozef, Alexander, Vladislav, Andrzej and Stanislav Adam.
He was one of the first Austro-Hungarian military pilots in the First World War . Then he served and fought in the Polish cavalry. He received the rank of lieutenant on June 1, 1919 , in 1924 he served as a reserve officer of the 2nd Rokytnyansky cavalry regiment.
Family and Children
On December 10, 1918, in Krakow, he married Teresa Sobanskaya ( October 20, 1891 - October 14, 1981 ), the daughter of Count Mikhail Maria Sobansky (1858-1934) and Countess Ludwika Maria Wodzicka (1857-1944). They had eight children:
