The commune is located approximately 680 km south of Paris , 105 km southwest of Toulouse [1] .

The River flows in the northwest of the commune. Most of the territory of the commune is occupied by forests.

The climate is temperate - oceanic [2] . Winters are mild and snowy, spring is characterized by heavy rains and thunderstorms, summers are dry and hot, and autumn is sunny. Strong southeast and northwest winds prevail.
