Biography

Orthodox. From an old noble family . Landowner of the Tver and Vladimir provinces (ancestral estate of more than 1000 acres ).

At the end of the Tver Cavalry School in 1877, he was released as a cornet in the 1st Hussar Sumy Regiment , with which he entered the Russian-Turkish war . For distinction he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav 3rd degree with swords and bow. Since 1879 he was a member of the regimental court and the chief of arms of the regiment.

In 1882, he entered the reserve with the rank of lieutenant and settled in his family estate, where he devoted himself to agriculture and social activities. He was elected the vowel of the Alexander County and Vladimir Provincial Zemstvo Meetings , a deputy of the nobility of the Alexander County, an honorary magistrate of the Kalyazinsky district of the Tver province and the Alexander district . He was a district magistrate of the Alexandrovsky district (1884-1890) and the district commander of the 4th section of the same county (1887-1895).

In 1895 he was elected the Aleksandrovsky district leader of the nobility , in which position he remained until the end of his life. In addition, he was a trustee of a children's shelter in Aleksandrov, as well as an honorary trustee of parish schools and literacy schools in Aleksandrovsky district. In 1904 he was promoted to state councilor , and in 1910 he was granted chamberlain . In the same year he was elected an honorary citizen of Alexandrov . He was a member of the " Russian Assembly ", participated in the congresses of the United Nobility as an authorized Vladimir nobleman.

On June 18, 1909 he was elected a member of the State Council from the Vladimir Zemstvo to the place of N. A. Yasyuninsky . He was in the right group. He was a member of the financial commission.

He died single in 1911. He was buried in the cemetery of the Assumption Monastery of Alexandrov.
