The diosmithium forms cubic syngonium crystals, the space group F d 3 m , the cell parameters a = 0.77050 nm, Z = 8, the structure of the type of dimethyl magnesium MgCu 2 ( Laves phase ) [2] [3] [4] [5] .
The compound melts congruently at a temperature of 2480 ° C [1] .
