A Brief History

The platform appeared in the 1998 schedules. Its appearance is due to the presence of a large number of horticulture to the north of it, which was extremely difficult for people of retirement age to get from the station Privetnenskoe on foot, especially in winter. There is no bus connection with these gardens and never has been.

Initially, the platform was two concrete slabs laid along the embankment; there was no asphalt pavement.

After the reconstruction of the road in 2004, a new platform appeared - a longer, but still low, without railing, without pavilions, it was also not paved, but a boundary line was drawn.

A local attraction is a small green van, which has the name of a stopping point, and in the recent past, enthusiasts from among the local residents put together a train schedule using white paint in any form [1] .

Track Development

From the moment of opening to the present day there is no track development in this place. It is also not visible on the 1932 Finnish map [2] .

However, during the functioning of the Privetninskoye quarry, it was here - right on the stage - that there was a two-kilometer branch through which the diesel was delivered by diesel locomotives to the quarry for loading, and then - loaded wagons were transported to the Privetnenskoye station, where trains from them were formed for further shipment. The arrow was manual, it was locked, the key to which was received by the driver at the Pryvitnensky station, who was next to the quarry and back. This key was considered confirmation of the right to take the train.

By 1989, the quarry had long been closed, the arrow on the stage was dismantled, however, the rails in the forest remained, and they could be seen from the window of the carriage of a passing train. They lay on wooden sleepers.

As of 2012, wooden sleepers at the site of the adjoining quarry branch could be seen east of the platform, being directly on it. The embankment in the forest can be traced well to the quarry, but it is heavily overgrown and blurred in places. Wooden sleepers are visible in some places, at the intersection with the road leading from the Primorsky highway to the village of Privetninsky quarry , the last rail remained.

Immediately after the platform along the career branch, two more embankments, which could be the bases of the sideways, go to the right and left of it. One of them - the south - has a slight slope and after about 600 meters ends with a clearing in the forest, located about 5 meters above the main course of the quarry branch. The second embankment almost at the same place adjoins the main path to the quarry, in the form of a trapezoid. Traces of sleepers can be found on this side mound, but it is also heavily overgrown.

Paths are laid in places along all the embankments.

On some maps, the career branch is still indicated as valid. [3]

Passenger movement

Since July 2014, the platform has passed through the platform:

  • 1 morning pair of RA2 rail buses on the route Vyborg - Zelenogorsk - Vyborg .
  • 1 evening pair of RA2 rail buses on the route Vyborg - St. Petersburg - Vyborg (from October 13, 2014 - with oncoming traffic at the station Privetnenskoe ).
  • 1 pair of electric trains ER2 under the locomotive M-62 on weekends in the summer on the route St. Petersburg - Soviet - St. Petersburg .
