Vladimir Mikhailovich Baryshev (June 13, 1913, P. Botkino, Kasimovsky District, Ryazan Region - November 20, 1992, Moscow) - Russian aircraft designer . Laureate of the Lenin Prize and the USSR State Prize .

Biography
In 1930-1934 he worked as an engineer and aircraft technician for testing aircraft engines at the N.E. Zhukovsky Air Force Academy . In 1940 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Civil Aircraft Engineers (specialty - mechanical engineer in airship building).
Until 1951, he worked in the aviation experimental design bureau V.M. Petlyakov , S.V. Ilyushin. He participated in the development of aircraft Pe-2 , IL-14 and IL-28 .
Since 1951, V. M. Myasishchev’s design bureau was the chief of the brigade, then the deputy general designer. He participated in the creation of 3M, M4, M50, M52 heavy bombers.
In 1963, he was appointed head of the Branch No. 2 of the Design Bureau of V. N. Chelomey and headed it until 1985.
He died on November 20, 1992. He was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery .
