Content
Geographical position
Olenevskoe rural settlement is located on the right bank of the Volga. The rural settlement is divided into 2 parts by the Gulf and the Olenye River flowing into the Gulf. The connectivity of the settlement is provided by the bridge across the bay and the P-228 highway passing through this bridge. The Olenevsky rural settlement is located between the Volgograd-Volga agglomeration and the city of Kamyshin within the Volgograd region and the Republic of Kalmykia, the Rostov, Astrakhan region and the Saratov region in the framework of the Russian Federation. The countries of the Caucasus and the Volga region, the Urals of the Russian Federation in the international framework.

The Olenevsky rural settlement was formed by the Law of Volgograd Region dated March 14, 2005 No. 1026-OD “On Establishing Borders and Granting Status to the Dubovsky District and Municipalities in Its Composition” [2] .
