The Kolmogorov Medal ( The Kolmogorov Lecture and Medal ) is an award from the University of London . Established by the centenary of the birth of mathematician Andrei Nikolaevich Kolmogorov . In the early years it was awarded annually, in the future, the period between awards increased. Upon presentation of the medal, the laureate gives a lecture, which is then published in The Computer Journal .
