History
The village of Bor is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of A. M. Wilbrecht in 1792 [2] .
On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F.F. Schubert in 1834, the village of Bor is also indicated [3] .
BOR - the village belongs to the titular counselor Petrova, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 7 m., 13 w. paragraph [4] . (1838)

In 1864-1865, temporarily liable peasants of the village bought their land allotments from M. E. Tauzakov and became the owners of the land [8] .
In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Hamont volost of the 2nd camp of the Novoladozh district of the St. Petersburg province.
According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village of Bor was part of the Yezhovskoye rural society [9] .
According to the military topographic map of the Petrograd and Novgorod provinces of the 1915 edition, the village was called Bor [10] .
From 1917 to 1920, the village of Khudoy Bor was part of the Nivsky village council of the Kolchanovo volost of the Novoladozh district .
Since 1921, as part of the Yezhevsky village council of the Kolchanovo volost of the Volkhov district .
Since January 1927, the village of Khudoi Bor is accounted for by regional administrative data, like the village of Bor . Since August 1927, as part of the Volkhov district [11] .
According to 1933, the village was called Khudoy Bor and was part of the Yezhovsky village council of the Volkhov district [12] .
In 1939, the population of the village of Bor was 67 people.
Since 1946, as part of the Novoladozhsky district .
Since 1954, as part of the Volkhov district.
In 1958, the population of the village of Bor of the Ezhevsky village council was 29 people [11] .
According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Bor was part of the Kolchanovo Village Council [13] [14] [15] .
In 1997, 2 people lived in the village of Bor, Kolchanovo volost, in 2002 there was no permanent population [16] [17] .
In 2007 and 2010 in the village of Bor Kolchanovsky SP there was also no permanent population [18] [19] .
Geography
The village is located in the central part of the district on the highway 41K-062 ( Kukol - Bor).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 18 km [18] .
The distance to the nearest railway platform Georgievskaya is 6.5 km [13] .
The village is located on the right bank of the Lynna River.
