Sakharovka is a village of the Arkhangelsk village council of the Yelets district of the Lipetsk region . Located in the northern part of the Yelets district , 4 km north-east of Yelets . Located on the right bank of the Bystraya Sosna River , when a small stream flows into it.

Content
History
For the first time, Sakharovka is noted in the “List of Populated Places” of the Yelets district of the Oryol province in 1866, and is referred to as the “village of owners, 11 yards, 134 residents.”
At the beginning of the XX century, the Sakharovka village was listed in the parish of the Ascension Church of the village of Olshanets [2]

According to the 1926 census of the USSR , it had 93 yards and 476 inhabitants.
Transport
Saharovka is connected by an asphalt road with Yelets .
1.5 km to the north, on the opposite bank of the Bystraya Sosna River , there is the Trubitsyno railway station of the Yelets - Leo Tolstoy line of the South-East Railway .
Famous residents
Kashin, Ivan Andreevich - pilot of the Civil Air Fleet of the USSR, a hero of the Soviet Union . Born in Sakharovka.
Presnyakov Viktor Petrovich - captain of the 1st rank, submariner, participant of the Second World War, was born in Sakharovka, and from there went to war. After the war he entered the Military-Political School and after graduating from the school he served in the city of Kronstadt.
