Berlin-style liver with apples, onions and mashed potatoes
Berlin-style liver ( German: Leber Berliner Art ) - a classic Berlin dish , fried veal liver with onions and apples.
To prepare the chopped liver, roll in flour and quickly fry in butter. Spread the finished liver, salt, pepper and keep it warm. In the same pan, a large amount of butter is fried onions , cut into rings, and apples of sour varieties, cut into circles. When serving the dish, onions with apples are laid out on the liver, mashed potatoes with carrots, red cabbage or green salad usually serve as a side dish .
