Club career

Bernardeschi is a pupil of the football schools of the Fiorentina club. In 2012, he was included in the team’s application for the season, but was not able to make his debut for the violets. In the same year, in order to receive game practice, Federico on a leasehold moved to Croton . On September 8, in a match against Pescara , he made his debut in Serie B [2] . On September 21, in a duel against Brescia , Bernardeschi scored his first goal for Crotone [3] . At the end of the season, Federico became the team's top scorer, scoring 12 goals. In the summer of 2014, he returned to Fiorentina.

On September 14, in a match against Genoa , Bernardeschi made his debut in Serie A and replaced Mario Gomez in the second half [4] . Federico scored his first goals for the “violets” in the Europa League matches against Minsk Dynamo [5] and French Guingamp [6] .

February 18, 2016 in a duel of the Europa League against the English Tottenham Hotspur Federico scored a goal [7] . In the summer, Inter and the Russian Zenith showed interest in Bernardeschi [8] . On July 24, 2017, Bernardeschi’s transition to Turin Juventus was officially formalized. The deal amounted to 40 million euros. On March 5, 2014, in the qualifying match of the European Youth Championship against the Northern Ireland youth team, Bernardeschi made his debut for the Italian youth team [16] .

On March 24, 2016, in a friendly match against Spain, Federico made his debut for Italy , replacing Antonio Kandreva in the second half [17] .

In the summer of 2016, Federico took part in the European Championship in France . At the tournament, he played in a match against the national team of Ireland [18] .

On June 11, 2017, in the qualifying match of the 2018 World Cup against the Liechtenstein national team, Bernardeschi scored his first goal for the national team [19] .

In the same year, Federico took part in the youth European Championship in Poland as part of the youth team. At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Germany [20] , Spain [21] and the Czech Republic [22] . In fights against the Germans and Spaniards, Bernardeschi scored a goal.
