Geography
Pine is located in the southern part of the Yelets district , 17 km south of Yelets . Located in the upper river Panikovets .
History
For the first time Pine (Butyrky) is mentioned in the "List of populated places" of the Yelets district of the Oryol province of 1866 . Celebrated as "treasury village, 19 courtyards, 32 residents." The former name is from the word Butyrka - "settlement, separated from the general settlement, a house on the outskirts, a mansion." [2]
In 1905, the village of Sosenka was celebrated in the parish of the church of the Smolensk Icon of the Virgin Mary in the village of Bogoroditskoye-Strelnikovo . [3]
According to the census of the USSR in 1926, 33 yards and 196 inhabitants were in Sosenka. [four]

Transport
The pine tree is connected by a dirt road to the village of Malaya Boevka .
4.5 km to the northeast is the Khitrovo railway station of the Yelets - Kastornaya line of the South-Eastern Railway .
