Geography
It is located in the northwestern part of the Belogorsky district , at the junction of the steppe zone of Crimea and the foothills of the Crimean mountains , in the beam of an anonymous stream, lost in the steppe.

History
In 1952, the Rusakovsky Village Council was formed [8] .

The status and boundaries of the Rusakovsky rural settlement are established by the Law of the Republic of Crimea dated June 5, 2014 No. 15-ZRK “On Establishing the Borders of Municipalities and the Status of Municipalities in the Republic of Crimea” [10] .
