Biography

In 1956 he graduated from GITIS. He was invited by Oleg Efremov to the Sovremennik Theater, but preferred to leave for Irkutsk.

In 1956-1974 he served in the theaters of Irkutsk, Kuibyshev, Omsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Saratov, Gorky, Voronezh.

Since 1974, on the stage of the Primorsky Drama Theater named after Gorky . He made his debut in the role of Mastakov in Gorky's play “The Old Man” directed by M. Abramov. Among the most significant roles: Ilyin in “Five Evenings”, Levinson in “Defeat”, Andrey in “ Live and Remember .” For the roles of Chepurny in The Children of the Sun and Svidrigailov in Crime and Punishment, he was awarded the Konstantin S. Stanislavsky State Prize of the RSFSR in the field of theatrical art.
