Biography
Born July 29, 1939 in the Yaroslavl region. He studied at the technical school number 8 of the city of Yaroslavl, graduated in 1962 and was assigned for the construction of a new petrochemical complex - Angarsk. Got to the oil cracking unit, where he worked for 12 years, then became the operator of the tar deasphalting unit. In 1971 he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. Three years later, as written in award documents, “for successfully completing assignments of the IX five-year plan,” he received the highest award for his work — the title of Hero of Socialist Labor, with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle Gold Medal [1] .
