Around 121, Urbic was a member of the College of Four, responsible for maintaining the satisfactory condition of Roman roads. Subsequently, he began his military career as a military tribune in the XXII Primordial Legion , which was stationed in the Upper German city of Mogontziak . Subsequently, Urbic became a city quaestor of Rome and became a member of the Senate. After that, he held the post of legate at the proconsul of the province of Asia for one year. Upon returning to Rome, Urbik was appointed to be at the posts of the people's tribune and praetor (moreover, he took both posts as a candidate from the emperor Hadrian ).
In 130-133, Urbik was led by the X Double Legion , who camped at Windobon . He then participated in the campaign of Emperor Hadrian, aimed at suppressing the Jewish rebellion led by Bar Kokhba .
