Biography
Vasily Sholodonov was born on July 10, 1948 in the village of Grabye (now the Oktyabrsky district of the Gomel region of Belarus ). Since 1966 he worked at oil and gas companies. Later he graduated from the Law Faculty of the Belarusian State University , worked in prosecution authorities in the Gomel region. He was elected deputy, deputy chairman of the Supreme Council of the Belarusian SSR [1] .
From December 1992 [1] to 1995 [2], Sholodonov worked as the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus. He headed the parliamentary commission of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus, then the branch of the Belarusian Embassy in St. Petersburg [3] .
He died on March 1, 2007 [1] , was buried in the Eastern cemetery of Minsk .
Honored Lawyer of Belarus. He was also awarded a number of medals [1] .
