History

The basis for the start of construction of the Belarusian Tire Combine (currently Belshina OJSC) in Bobruisk (Republic of Belarus) was Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of March 25, 1963 No. 299 “On Measures for More Fully Utilization of the Labor Reserves of the Belarusian SSR” and the decision of the Supreme Economic Council of the USSR No. 90-r dated June 11, 1965, which approved the design assignment for the construction of the BShK.

Directly to the construction of the Belarusian tire plant began in September 1965.

In 1968, a mechanical production unit (subsequently a mechanical plant) began to operate, where equipment for future production workshops was assembled and manufactured, new methods for tire assembly were worked out, and practical training was given to workers in tire manufacturing specialties.
