Biography
Born February 24, 1971 in the village of Karkaliu , where he spent most of his childhood. Thanks to his grandfather, he discovered the beauty of church reading and singing, and with his grandmother Daria made a pilgrimage to the Slavsky Assumption Monastery every year.
After serving in the army, in October 1990 he entered the Slavsky Assumption Monastery, where in 1992 he was tonsured a monk with the name Flavian .
In 1993 he was ordained to the rank of deacon , and in 1997 - to the rank of holy monk .
On June 5, 2000, Archbishop Sofroniy (Lipalit) was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite , and on June 5, Metropolitan Belokrinitsky Leonty (Isot) was ordained bishop .
June 24, 2000 was elevated to the dignity of the archbishop [1] .
Since 2002, he also runs the Diocese of Dobrudja. He teaches in the Old Believer class of the Romanian Orthodox Theological Seminary [2] .
