Geography
The village of Malakhovo is located about 40 km southeast of the center of Spas-Klepiki . The nearest settlements are the village of Novo-Anosovo to the north, the village of Dmitrievo to the east, the village of Akulovo to the south and the village of Andronovo to the west.
History
The village of Malakhov, Fedorovsky identity, was first mentioned at the beginning of the XVIII century as part of the Velikodvorsky volost of the Staroryazan camp . In 1856, a wooden church was built in the village in honor of the icon of the Kazan Mother of God with the Assumption chapel. Since 1882, a parish school was operating in the village [2] .
In 1905, the village was part of the Vetchan volost of Kasimovsky district and had 150 yards with a population of 953 people [3] .
From 1929 to 1963, the village was part of the Tumsky district .
In 2010, 9 new houses were built in the village, in which the residents of the village of Kultuki burnt during the forest fires were relocated [4] .

Transport and Communications
The village is connected by an asphalt road with the P105 highway. There is no regular bus service to Tuma . The bus runs once a week, on Thursdays.
In the village of Malakhovo there is a rural post office of the same name (index 391012).
