Mansurov, Mirzo Muhiddin

Mirzo Mukhitdin Mansurov (date of birth unknown) - Bukhara merchant, public figure and politician, one of the leaders of Jadidism in Bukhara. Leader of the Young Bukhara movement.

Biography

Born in an aristocratic family. He was a major Bukhara banker [1] and the owner of a large ginnery. [2]

Before the revolution, Mansurov, as one of the richest people in Bukhara, was one of the participants and sponsors of the local Jadid movement [3]. Since 1900 , he was in opposition to the emir of Bukhara. [2] In 1912 , Mansurov was one of the initiators of the Tajik newspaper Bukhoroi Sharif .

In 1917 , Mansurov was the first chairman of the Young Bukhara party . In addition to him, the Central Committee of the party included his sons Mirzo Isam Mukhitdinov and Mirzo Abdukadir Muhitdinov .

After the liquidation of the emirate in Bukhara and the proclamation of the Bukhara People’s Soviet Republic , in 1920 Mansurov led the BNSR mission in Moscow to establish trade and political ties with Soviet Russia .

He had 4 sons and 1 daughter: Mirzo Isam Mukhitdinov ; Mirzo Abdukadir Mukhitdinov ; Mirzo Amin Mukhitdinov ; Mirzo Khayrullo Mukhitdinov ; Matlabhon Mukhitdinova .

Sons actively participated in political life: Isam, Abdukadir, Amin were associates of Mansurov in the party of young Bukhara, Isam led his father’s business and trading house Mansurov, Abdukadir later became the head of the BNSR , Amin served as plenipotentiary representative of the BNSR in the RSFSR.
