Story
The story of two lonely and alienated men is told against the background of snowy and dank Istanbul. Yusuf ( Emin Toprak ), a young worker from the village, comes to Istanbul to find work here in the port on a ship. He stops at his relative Mahmut ( Muzaffer Ozdemir ), a fairly wealthy photographer. Mahmut is outwardly the exact opposite of the inexperienced and uneducated Yusuf, whom he dislikes. It took place in life, is a fan of films by Andrei Tarkovsky . But at the same time, Mahmut’s work is extremely boring and consists in photographing tile samples; he can hardly express his emotions for his ex-wife or his lover.
