Dejan Djurdzhevich ( Serb. Dejan ђеpђeviћ ; July 4, 1967 ; Lazarevac , Yugoslavia ) is a Yugoslav and Serbian football player who played as a midfielder. Now a coach. Since June 25, 2019, the head coach of the Uzbek club “ Navbahor ”.

Game career

He began his career as a soccer player in the team of his hometown Kolubara. In 1989 he was invited to the Belgrade OFK , where he played until 1993. Later he moved to Greece and signed a contract with the Atoll team Apollo Smirnis from Athens. In one season, he scored one goal in thirteen matches. In early 1994, he returned to the OFK, where he spent the next two seasons. In 1996 he moved to the Chukarichki club, for which he played for two seasons.

In 1998, he signed a contract with the Swedish club AIK . In 2000, he returned to Serbia and completed his career in 2002 as part of the OFK.

As a trainer

He worked as a trainer in the OFK youth team until 2006. In 2007, he was appointed head coach of the youth team of Serbia, where he worked for a year and a half.

In mid-2008 he moved to Chukarichki . I could not win the championship of Serbia and in 2009 I resigned. In the same year he became the head coach of the OFK, and in 2010 the club took third place in the championship.

In early 2011, Dzhurdzhevich moved to Uzbekistan and became the head coach of the Tashkent “ Pakhtakor ”.

From the end of 2012 to the middle of 2013, he was the head coach of the Serbian Radnichki team. From July 2015 to September 2017, he was a member of the coaching staff of the national team of Uzbekistan . In 2018, he became the head coach of the Serbian club Zemun, which he headed until the summer of 2019. At the end of June 2019, he was appointed head coach of the Uzbek club Navbahor .
