Prince Charles is a low-lying island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago . Administratively refers to the Kikiktani region of Nunavut . Currently, the island is uninhabited (2012).

Geography
Located in Fox Bay , west of Baffin Island . Area - 9521 km², it occupies the 78th place in the world and the 19th in Canada . The coastline is 402 km [1] .
History
Opened in July 1948 ; in 1949 it was investigated and mapped by researcher T. Menning. The island is named after the English Prince Charles .
