Race
The race almost ended in a sensation: after the last series of pit stops, Ivan Capelli and his teammate Mauricio Guzhelmin took the lead, speaking at the Leyton House - Judd race cars, whose reliability was extremely low - for example, qualifications for the previous race at the Mexican Grand Prix 1990, both riders did not pass at all, but in this race their cars drove at incredible speed. Alain Prost, who was driving behind them in third position, was lagging behind with each lap, until Guzhelmin left the race 25 laps before the finish line. Cappelli was in the lead for the next 20 laps and was close to his first victory in his career, but he was unlucky - due to problems with the ignition, his car began to sharply lose speed and as a result, Alain Prost beat him 3 laps before the finish line.
