Prince Mikhail Alexander Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky ( September 19, 1741 - August 7, 1796 , Warsaw ) - captain of the People’s Cavalry, Tushinsky Warden ( 1774 ) and Zhytomyr ( 1775 ), adjutant wing of the last King of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth Stanislav Augustus Ponyatovsky .

Biography
Representative of the Polish-Lithuanian princely family Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky . The eldest son of the royal subcommittee, Prince Vladislav Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky (d. 1785 ), and Katarina Radziminsky. The younger brother is the Chernigov coughtel Felitsian Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky.
In 1765 - 1769 he studied at the "Knight's School" in Warsaw . At first, he served as a coroner in the guards regiment of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania , in 1768 he was appointed the adjutant wing of Stanislav Augustus Ponyatovsky , then became the captain of the national cavalry.
In 1773, he was elected ambassador ( deputy ) from the Bratslav Voivodeship to the Sejm , together with Anthony Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky, he led the Seim delegation, which, under the pressure of the diplomats of Russia, Prussia and Austria, was forced to agree to the first section of the Commonwealth . September 18, 1773 signed a treaty on the cession of the lands of the Commonwealth of Russia, Prussia and Austria.
At the Sejm of 1773 - 1775, Mikhail Alexander Svyatopolk-Chetvertinsky was taken over by the headman and the Tushino army, then became the headman of Zhytomyr . He was the owner of Gubin ( Volyn Voivodeship ).
Due to personal interest, at first he did not oppose reforms. He was an opponent of the constitution on May 3, 1791 , in Lviv he campaigned for the Targovitsa Confederation .
In 1791 he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav .
Family and Children
He was married to Countess Constance von Bruchenthal (d. 1792 ), the daughter of Count Józef von Bruchenthal and Dorota Koss von der Esmel, widow of the Chestnut of the Wroclaw Jan Skarbek (1710-1772). Their kids:
