Biography
Born in 1912 in the village of Algabas, Turkestan Territory (today - Tulkubassky District, South Kazakhstan Region , Kazakhstan ). From 1936 to 1942 he worked on the 2nd Tulkubas collective farm. In 1942 he was drafted into the Red Army. He participated in the Great Patriotic War. After demobilization in 1943 he returned to his native collective farm. Since 1950, he worked as a field link at the Algabas collective farm of the Tulkubas district of the Chimkent region.
In 1965, the field link, led by Mantai Zharimbetov, collected 19 centners of grain from a plot of 162 hectares. In 1966, the unit collected 31.8 centners of grain from a plot of 116 hectares. For these achievements he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1967.

Memory
In 2007, the village of Mantaya Zharimbetova in the Tyulkubassky district of the South Kazakhstan region (the former village of Second Tyulkubas ) was named after him [1] .
