Borislav Paravac ( Serb Borislav “Boro” Paravac , Borislav Paravac , born February 18, 1943 , Kostanica ) is a Bosnian Serbian political and statesman. In 2003-2006 , he was a member of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina (the “collective head of state”) from the Serb community; from April 11, 2003 to June 27, 2003 and from October 28, 2004 to June 28, 2005 - Chairman of the Presidium on the principle of rotation of members of the Presidium.

Biography
Born in the Ustash occupied Bosnia. By his own admission, his father was a member of the Chetniks during World War II .
In 1966 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb with a degree in Accounting and Auditing for financial reporting. He took up political activity late, before that for a long time he had held senior positions in the financial and industrial sector at the municipality level, was engaged in entrepreneurial activity (agribusiness).
From 1990 to 2000 - mayor of Doboia , at the same time since 1996 he was a member of the National Assembly of the Serbian Republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
On October 5, 2002, Paravac was elected to the House of Representatives of BiH - the lower house of the federal parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he became the first deputy chairman of this body.
In the spring of 2003, he took the place of the Serbian representative on the Presidium of the republic , replacing the post of the suspended head of state Mirko Sharovich . He was in the public service until the next election on October 1, 2006 . After the resignation he moved to his hometown, is engaged in gardening and agriculture.
He is a full member of the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Republika Srpska.
He speaks French.
