Project
The depot under the design name “Yuzhnoye” was initially proposed for servicing the Third Interchange Circuit , with its commissioning along with the southeastern section of the line. [6] It was proposed to locate it on the left bank of the Moskva River southwest of the Kuryanovsky aeration stations adjacent to the lines between the Kashirskaya and Klenovy Boulevard stations [7] .
At the end of 2013, Marat Khusnullin announced the possibility of further expansion of the slop-repair building of the Brateevo depot at that time due to the lack of a depot to service the southern section of the Third Interchange Circuit [8] . It was decided to transfer the existing Zamoskvoretskoye depot serving the Zamoskvoretskaya and Kakhovskaya lines to the Third Interchange Circuit after the Kakhovskaya line became part of it, and to design a new Yuzhnoye depot on the territory of the Brateevo district for the Zamoskvoretskaya and Lublin-Dmitrovskaya lines [2] .
State Unitary Enterprise " Moscow Metro " conditions were put forward for the organization of a single engineering and technical complex with the current depot "Brateevo" for their interconnected work. Mosinzhproekt OJSC proposed a site close to the Brateevo Depot on the western side, located on the territory of the planned protected areas “Brateevskaya Poyma Fauna Reserve”. GAU NIIIP General Plan of Moscow was proposed a site with higher environmental priority north of the Gorodni River (east of the building near the Alma-Atinskaya metro station). Depot planning options between the Besedinsky highway and the Shmelevka river and between Shmelevka and the Moscow Ring Road were also considered . The main option for further design was the site west of the Brateevo depot [2] .
Composition
On a site with a projected area of 12.35 hectares , it is planned to arrange a sediment repair complex with a washing chamber, an administrative building, a carriage workshop, a building for maintenance services and other structures. The 0.3 km- long branch line will be connected to the I (western) track of the Brateevo Depot branch line. It is estimated that 900 people will work at the Yuzhnoye electric depot [2] .
