According to Forbes, in 2018 it was ranked 95th in the ranking of Russia's richest businessmen with a fortune of $ 1.1 billion. [3]

Biography
Igor Arkadievich Rotenberg was born on May 9, 1973 in Leningrad in the family of Arkady Romanovich Rotenberg [4] [5] .
In 2002 he graduated from the Higher School of Privatization and Entrepreneurship [4] .
In 2002-2003 - Deputy Head of the Department of Property of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Ministry of Property of Russia [4] .
In 2003-2004 - Head of the Department of Transport and Communications Property of the Ministry of Property of Russia [4]
In 2004-2005 - Vice President of Russian Railways - Head of the Department of Property Management and Organizational Structures [4] .
In 2005, the dissertation council of the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia [6] awarded the degree of candidate of legal sciences. The topic of the dissertation is “Real estate as an object of civil rights”. [7]
Since 2006 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of NPV Engineering.
From 2004 to 2015 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of CB Northern Sea Route LLC (SMP Bank) [8] [9] .

September 10, 2018 Dmitry Medvedev created a commission on the modernization of the economy and innovative development of Russia, which included Igor Rotenberg. [12]
March 15, 2019 is included in the sanctions list of Canada [13] .

At the beginning of 2018, he owned 50% of RT-Invest Transport Systems (the parent company of TPS Real Estate), [21] 78.7% of the oilfield services company Gazprom Burenie and 78.7% of the contractor TEC Mosenergo. [22]
According to RBC, a week before getting on the sanctions list, the United States withdrew from the shareholders of the development company TPS Real Estate (owned a stake since 2014), its sister Liliya Rotenberg became the new co-owner. [23] After being put on the sanctions list, Rotenberg also reduced its stake in RT-Invest Transport Systems. [24]
