Great Three

Veliko Troystvo ( Croatian. Veliko Trojstvo ) is a community with a center in the village of the same name in the central part of Croatia , in Belovarsko-Bilogorsk County . The population of the community is 2741 people ( 2011 ), the population of the village is 1197 people [1] . In addition to the community center, the community includes 11 more villages.

Church of the Holy Trinity in the Great Trinity

The vast majority of the population of the community are Croats - 97.8%, Serbs account for 1% [2] .

Community settlements are located on the southwestern slopes of Bilogory . The town of Bjelovar is 8 km southwest. The Bielovar - Kloštar-Podravski motor road passes through the Great Troyan River, passing through Bilogora.

The first mention dates back to 1272. In 1316, the monastery of the Holy Trinity was mentioned, according to which the village got its name [3] . The modern church of the Holy Trinity was built in the Baroque style in 1768 [4] . A pedestrian tourist route “Bilogorski turistički put”, laid along Bilogor [5], passes through the village of Veliko Troystvo.
