Dititan stannide forms hexagonal crystals, space group P 6 3 / mmc , cell parameters a = 0.4653 nm , c = 0.5700 nm , Z = 2 , structure like nickel arsenide NiAs (or dinicelindium InNi 2 ) [2] [ 1] [3] .
The compound is formed by a peritectic reaction at a temperature of 1550 ° C [2] (according to other sources, 1552 ° C [4] ).
