The 29th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment was formed on November 22, 1942 by converting from the 154th Fighter Aviation Regiment on the basis of the Order of the NPO of the USSR [1] .
Disbandment of the Regiment
The 29th Guards Fighter Aviation Volkhov Regiment was disbanded as part of the 5th Fighter Aviation Air Defense Division on May 31, 1969
